NEWBIE NEEDS HELP with freeing up space on Win.8/64bit HP laptop! My question is, Can I uninstall the 32bit vers. of any of the CC apps installed, without effecting the 64bit vers?) NOTE: when I go to Programs & Features there is only one thumbnail for each app installed, example: Ps, Lr, etc. so does that thumbnail represents both versions? but if I click the windows button and go to the tiles and right click them a check mark appears and it offers an uninstall option there. I am so confused, what should I do? Thanks for any help offered!!

I may have used the wrong term... My desktop system IS directly cabled into the modem (which I'm calling a router). It's not wireless. So, I do go directly in. And I've used a different cable between box and modem, although EVERYTHING else has absolutely no problem downloading and installing. Most recently, Nik software, Helicon Focus, and Zerene Stacker all downloaded and installed perfectly. As have the updates to various MS Office products and any of the OTHER pieces of software I've put on the box in the last 2 months.
I have routinely downloaded software in the 1 - 2 GIGAbyte range with absolutely no problems, including the installation kits for all the Adobe software I'm using in what should be the Creative Cloud. This proved to be necessary because when CC puked it destroyed whatever software it was TRYING to update. For example, after it TRIED to install PS 2014, and failed, THERE WAS NO PS on the box any more. Same for the application manager. And, of course, the LR 5.5 to 5.6 upgrade was a disaster, leaving me at one point with LR that wouldn't communicate with PS, and then with NO LR...
So, I downloaded EVERYTHING I might need, and have been installing outside CC for the past 2 months...
I'm happy to have someone contact me, but this box HAS to run. I cannot spend days again with unreliable software that crashes, doesn't communicate, and destroys itself when it tries to update. So, I"m reluctant to participate in a THIRD multi-hour fishing expedition of wandering around the system and the modem, changing settings in the hope that something will accidentally work.
BTW: From October until June, CC loaded, installed, and upgraded with no problems. It was not until the application manager update in June that everything turned to feces, where it's remained since.
I'll be here most of tomorrow if someone would like to contact me, but my expectation is that they'll have some actual idea of things to do rather than simply repeating what's been done twice already.

Please follow the below mentioned steps to get that working :
- Open the Adobe Application Manager (AAM).
- If applicable, let AAM complete any automatic updates and restart itself.
- Sign in with your Adobe ID. (Optionally, you can close AAM at this point.)
- Open a CS6 application (e.g. InDesign CS6).
- If prompted (e.g. you get the trial screen), click "License This Software" and sign in with your Adobe ID.

Checked system requirements, and looks all good. Still receiving this error:

This is explanation :
I execute Windows 8 like a virtual machine based on MacOs.
When I installed Windows 8 a network card is automatically created between Mac and Windows 8 but it's just a local network, internet is provided by Mac.
So I create another card to reach my network.
But installer of creative cloud didn't work.
After reading your mail, I try to disable the first local network and installation succeded.
I think the installer test only the first network card which is enabled.

Install hangs on trying to connect to server
I am running Windows 8.1, I just purchased the Photography package with Photoshop CC and downloaded the Creative Cloud installer. It hangs on trying to connect to server, I really need to get photoshop installed for a project I am working on.

As soon as I click on the installation manager to download the desktop interface, it just loads at a small percentage and stops there. Help please?

Photoshop CC Install Stuck
I'm Downloading Photoshop CC on my Windows 7 System, using direct install as a pose to creative cloud installer -- It gets to "Installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x64)" and it does nothing and hangs on that part of the install for hours. Can anybody help?

RyanLittlefieldJ from the error message it appears that the Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package component of your operating system is damaged or is not installed. You can download and install the current version at Latest Supported Visual C++ Downloads.
