Re: How to use previous premiere pro versions? Installed 11.0.1 but defaults 11.2.1 when launching
well it seemingly did an auto update. And when I uninstall 11.2.1 and install another older version it goes to 11.2.1.
Re: How to use previous premiere pro versions? Installed 11.0.1 but defaults 11.2.1 when launching
Would it have anything to do with it being CC 2017?

Re: How to use previous premiere pro versions? Installed 11.0.1 but defaults 11.2.1 when launching
See what I mean? It says I'm installing 11.0.0 but when it finished it says 11.2.1
Re: How to use previous premiere pro versions? Installed 11.0.1 but defaults 11.2.1 when launching
they do try to trick you into updates but I'm testing now
Re: How to use previous premiere pro versions? Installed 11.0.1 but defaults 11.2.1 when launching
Yea they have some shady tactics.
Re: How to use previous premiere pro versions? Installed 11.0.1 but defaults 11.2.1 when launching
Is there a setting that makes it auto update to latest version that I may have turned on?

Re: Must Constantly Reinstall/Repair Creative Cloud
The STAFF member clearly is abusing privilege here but marking an unanswered issue as ANSWERED when it isnt .....
I certainly dont operate in any commercial department and with 30+ years of IT expertise certainly have the skills needed to fix issues if only ADOBE would tell us what ports need opening etc what ADOBE applications and their names access the internet (if the issue is security firewalls?) which is certainly not proven?
It looks like the 'Old Guard' that created and maintained Photoshop and such-like have retired and the youngsters and their less competent managers are unable to cope?
What with crippled Lightroom CC v6 about to be abandoned in favour of v7 another dying ADOBE application gets swept under the carpet.
Just what is going on in the Corporation and why is this forum just full of denials and apologetists? It aint as if ADOBE arent reeling in massive declared profits and cannot afford to get decent staff and have a real forum that sorts problems?
Re: All the self help solutions have failed, now what?
Scott did you locate and delete the OOBE folder as discussed in solution 2 of "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app ?
CC Desktop update hangs at 30%
Google searches for direct download links for the CC Desktop update (Oct. 2017) come up with information from 2014 and 2015 but nothing recent. This error 201 is frustrating because the "help" section is not helpful, only offering that my network connection should be checked. Network administrator says he has firewall set to accept Adobe updates and has no idea why it won't download. Anyone else having this problem?
Re: Must Constantly Reinstall/Repair Creative Cloud
CreativePlanForMe I am sorry that you continue to have your installation of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application becoming damaged after it was successfully installed. I would recommend you start a new forum discussion, in the Creative Cloud Download & Install forum - Creative Cloud Download & Install , if the details in this discussion are not allowing you to resolve your error.

Re: CC Desktop update hangs at 30%
Yes, I confirmed that I can connect & saw the two logos.
Re: CC Desktop update hangs at 30%
unless the error message is incorrect, your connection must be intermittent. if that's true i would expect your installs to hang at different points during the download, and not always hang at 30%. (btw, ~42% is when download is complete and extraction starts which is followed by installation.)
if your installs always hang at 30% there's some software that's disconnecting you at that point in your download. i don't know what that could be but would check with your it person, IF that's the case.
Re: CC Desktop update hangs at 30%
Our I.T. person disputes that the internet connection is intermittent and has checked it several times. Is there a direct link to this update that I can download manually and install?
Re: CC Desktop update hangs at 30%
i posted all the direct links above.
