Re: CC Desktop update hangs at 30%

Thank you for all your work on my question. Those links appear to refer to apps which I already have. The update I'm trying to download is Version 4.3.0.256. I may try to reinstall the CC Desktop; perhaps that will help.

if you're going to reinstall, do it completely:

 

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Nothing helped yet.

I tried 3 different networks and providers via LAN and Wi-Fi.

I still get this error (excerpt from the DLM.log file):

Never had those problems on other devices. Are there certain settings in Windows 10 that could cause this issue? Apart from the firewall and anti-virus?

 

Would love to show my laptop to a certified Adobe-Support in my area as I am frustrated. Only Adobe software has those network-problems on my computer. Where would be the next service? I am in Stuttgart, Germany.

I already tried several alternate internet connections.

 

Also some of the domain names in the file you linked don't even have dns records. =/

Hey i started my 7 day trial 2 days ago but it already says that my trial has finished but it has only been 2 days. Someone please help.

Thanks for the update Tom.  Direct support is always available at Contact Customer Care .  By choosing that chat option it is possible for direct control to be taken to help resolve the error.

 

Have you tried running a Traceroute or Ping command on the server addresses listed in the DLM.log Tom?  A failure in either one help verify that you are facing a network or software failure that is preventing the download from occurring.

 

If the Traceroute is completed successfully, and there is no packet loss when running the Ping command, then I would review any installed security software that might be interfering with the download process locally on the computer.

That's not good Maarten4132652.  If you change to a different domain name server are you then able to resolve the addresses successfully?

 

If so, and you are using the ISPs recommend DNS setting, please do let them know you are facing these difficulties.  You are welcome to reference this public forum discussion.

CCAM55 to add to Kglad's response in message #7 please also have your I.T. person review https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Creative_Cloud_for_enterprise_Service _Endpoints.pdf which provides complete details on the necessary servers, and ports, that are used to download, install, and utilize a Creative Cloud membership.

 

In addition if you have a Creative Cloud for Team or Enterprise membership then your program admin can create local installation packages that you can utilize for installation.

Hanging on version CC 2015.10.1

Since weeks the Lightroom desktop App informs me that my version is outdated and that I should upgrade.

But the Creative Cloud Desktop App doesn´t offer any upgrade. I´m hanging on version 2015.10.1, Upgrade is not possible.

Since today synchronization between Desktop App and mobile App is not longer possible: "Your version is outdated, please upgrade".

Yes, I know. But it´s not possible to upgrade.

The problem first occured some weeks or months ago. The years before upgrading has not been a problem at all.

What can I do?

I need the mobile sync, that´s one of the major functionalities I use.

Please help.

sign out and then back in to your cc desktop application:  http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

 

then click the 3 vertical dots at the upper right>check for app updates

 

if that fails:

 

 

Archive the AAMUpdater folder in the associated User account.  The contents of these folders will be re-created the next time an update check is performed.  If the folder isn't re-created, then your file permissions for the AAMUpdater folder need adjustment

 

Mac OS

 

    In the Finder, select the Go menu and choose Go to Folder.

    Enter the following location: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater, not /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater.

    Select the 1.0 folder and rename it to ~1.0.

      Note: Do not rename the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0 folder. Removal of this folder prevents the Adobe updater from detecting updates for your currently installed Adobe software titles.

 

Windows 7 and 8

 

    Go to C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater, not C:\ProgramData\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0 folder.

    Select the 1.0 folder and rename it to ~1.0.

      Note: Do not rename the C:\ProgramData\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0 folder. Removal of this folder prevents the Adobe updater from detecting updates for your currently installed Adobe software titles.

  1. PDApp.exe is found in the following locations and is used by the Adobe Application Manager for program updates.

 

    Windows 64-bit: \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\

    Windows 32-bit: \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\

    Mac OS X: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/PDApp/core/

Fiz todos os testes de conectividade, que confirmaram estar meu PC ok, passei aplicativos de limpeza da Adobe e continuo sem conectar os servidores da Adobe.
Minha plataforma é Windows 10 64bit. Preciso fazer uma revista e não consigo instalar nada. Alguém entende o que está acontecendo?

Thanks a lot for your fast answer.

Unfortunately all hints didn´t help.

I logged off and on following the instructions in the linked document.

I renamed the 1.0 Folder. Yes. The folder reappears after trying to update.

But the situation didn´t change, still on cc 2015.10.1

Trouble Installing Photoshop

Towards the end of the installation it says "Installation Failed" and gives me an "error summary link" to open in another window. I click on it and the new window says that "Your file was not found it may have been moved or deleted."

 

I followed the trouble shooting steps in the Adobe site and retrieved the log file and this is what it says:
