As you have mentioned you would like to know how to resolve Error code 72 that occurs while installing Creative Cloud desktop app, Please refer to the following help document to know how to resolve this error: Error code 42 or 72 when installing Adobe Creative Cloud.

I doubt the firewall is the problem since I've already tried running the Adobe Creative Cloud program with the firewall turned off.

Is it possible to make Creative Cloud tell which Adobe server it cannot reach?

Hi ChanVasquez,

 

Thank you for sharing details of the steps that you have already performed to resolve this issue, if i understand you clearly your Photoshop CC stopped working after you updated your computers operating system, and then after trying few steps and installing the latest Photoshop version now you are getting a trial error, In order to resolve this issue i would recommend you to do a manual cleanup of the Creative Cloud from your machine, see the steps here: Photoshop Installation Failed.

Maarten4132652 you can review the DLM.log but that only affects download failures.  Please review the list of servers which were listed in post #9 Maarten4132652.  If you face any failures with even one of the address then it will can lead to the failure you are experiencing.

I tried to ping a selection of the servers and only some of them respond some time out and others the host could not be found.

However I do not know what to do with this.

If I use an online tool it gives the same result. This indicates that the problem is not with me right?

Maarten4132652 for a next step I would recommend contacting your Internet service provider.  You can reference the same network endpoint document referenced in message #9.

 

If you are in a managed network environment then please contact the organization, or individual, managing the network.

Yeah but there is no reason to think this is related to the ISP since I tried it at several different locations (different ISP's).

I'm not on a managed network.

Maarten4132652 if you are receiving server time outs then you will need to contact the Internet Service Provider so that the error can be resolved. 

 

As previously discussed your inability to contact any of the servers listed in https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Creative_Cloud_for_enterprise_Service _Endpoints.pdf will affect your ability to utilize a Creative Cloud membership and download and install Adobe Creative Cloud applications. If you have already eliminated any local configuration errors; then your Internet Service Providers will be the only ones able to restore access to the inaccessible servers.

Well, that helped! After following the steps from your link I reinstalled CC and Photoshop and now I could start PS again - no software license window and no test version. Thank you a lot!

Download CS3 - New version without activation

Hi,

 

I would like to install my CS3 version. As the normal internet activation is not longer available, I've requested a new serial number and a link to download a CS3 version that works without activation (as Adobe told me). Unfortunately, I can't start the download of the new version. Can't get a server connection. I tried that on several computers with several internet connections. What can I do to get the download?

cannot install any programs or update creative cloud?

hi

 

ive recently starting using creative cloud

 

i was able to install photoshop, illustrator, indesign and lightroom. lightroom however wouldn't install an update

 

i kept trying and it failed so i proceeded to repair cc

 

that didnt work so i decided to uninstall

 

i then tried to reinstall but now i cannot install any programs and i get an error message of "Click retry to download and install it again". this doesnt work

 

i also have an error code 301 when i try to update creative cloud

 

i have reinstalled multiple times, using the cleaner program and the uninstall program and even used previous restore points and i keep getting the same errors.

 

help me please!

So I've downloaded the Photoshop installer.dmg file and double clicked on the ps icon as instructed and that's it....nothing. I've paid for the photography plan which is LR and PS. I've already installed LR and the Creative Cloud app but the screen seems to be frozen on the instructions? So I said I'd delete and retry download and install but when I try to empty my thrash can it says it can't as the file is in use???????? Really peeved here as I'm paying for the service and there doesn't seem to be a technical team to help with this.

All the self help solutions have failed, now what?

I few days ago when starting my pc the Creative cloud desktop app was no longer in the task tray on Windows 10.  So I tried to re-install it but it gets to 43% then has error code 50.  so I've come to the forums and tried all this fun stuff.  I've tried to uninstall the app and re-install,  but the app doesn't show in the list of programs.  I've downloaded and ran the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool  that seemed to do something, but when I try to install creative cloud again no luck.

 

So I search the forums some more.  now i downloaded and ran the Creative cloud uninstaller and that came back with Uninstalled with Errors.

I've looked at the logs and appears to error whey trying to create a backup of the ADS folder.

 

so now I'm in a place where I cannot run the Cleanertool (screen just pops up then disappears) and can't install creative cloud, uninstalls with errors when I try to run the uninstaller.

 

Right now I'm on the Photography plan and Acrobat DC Pro both.  Photoshop, and Acrobat are still working, but I can't open Creative Cloud to see if they are up to date or install any updates.

 

any help or any log you need just let me know.
